I have the new xfi gateway modem (white) and now my vizio tv needs to restart everytime

I had the black modem and it worked fine. Xfinity sent me new xfi modem (white) and everything except my vizio tv works. It will recognize the wifi but will say there is no connection until I reset the tv. I have to do this everyday, sometimes twice. 

What is the steps to fix this? I assume that the band needs to be split, but the instructions don't seem to work.

The steps I'm showing on another post seem to have worked. From post https://comca.st/3BLpkDs a member commented these steps:

You can do this in the xFi app.
Connect > See Network > pencil icon > select box to use different names.
I had to actually rename the separate channels for it to work, but then it should kick you off and require you to log in again with the new name/password.

Is this the path that you tried?

Did you have separated networks with the previous modem?
