I have deadspots in my home

I have dead spots in my home, and since I have xFi Complete, I should be able to get an evaluation to get free wifi extenders. I don't know how to do this though. When I test my home network, it tells me that I have spotty zones, but only leads me to buy an extender, which I don't want to do since realistically I should qualify for the free ones?
