I have a replacement modem. How do I get the MAC address on my account updated?
As the subject says. My replacement modem is here now and I need to update the MAC address on my account. Can I do this online or do I have to call a phone number?

This can usually be done online through the Xfinity website or the Xfinity app.

You need to activate the modem with them. They desperately, desperately want you to do that using their Xfinity App (see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/activate-xfi-gateway-app). If that doesn't work give their activation line at 1-855-652-3446 a try. And if that doesn't work, try calling Customer Service at 1-800-Xfinity (1-800-934-6489) an tell them you need to activate the modem.
