I got an email with the header "We’re upgrading our fiber-powered network" but have been unable to get actual details on what that means

I got an email that says I'm getting an upgrade to my service but haven't been able to get a clear awnser on what exactly its upgrading to. I mean the technology and what speeds will be available and when the new speeds will be available. DOCSIS 4? Fiber no one seems to know 10gb or 2gb? (Text of the email below with some information cut out for privacy reasons. I know when maintenance starts and that it will continue for a few days but that doesent tell me when I can actually buy the new speeds or what they will be.

Meet our most powerful fiber-powered WiFi yet.

Bringing you the best WiFi experience is our top priority. We regularly invest in our network so you can enjoy the most reliable WiFi. As part of this investment, we’re upgrading the network in your area to offer equally fast upload and download WiFi speeds.

With equally fast speeds, you experience:

  • An AI-powered network built to catch glitches before they happen.
  • Low-lag connections for every game, show, and meeting that matters.

What to expect

While we make these enhancements, you may experience brief, intermittent service outages at [address] starting on [date]. Work will take place over multiple days, but your service will not be out the entire time.

While we will make our best effort to stick to the dates provided, sometimes factors beyond our control–like weather–may cause us to shift the schedule. We'll confirm via text the day before work starts.

And heads up, if you have Xfinity Voice, you will not be able to call 911 from your wired phone line during outages.

Stay in the know

We’ll text you reminders so you can prepare your day and know when your services are back online.

Confirm your mobile number so you don’t miss a reminder.
