I can't unpause a device

I have an iPhone 12 which was paused by mistake. I went into the xfinity app and unpaused it, but when I tried connecting to the wifi network again I got a "Device is Paused" message. I checked the xfinity app, and saw that the app said my iPhone was unpaused, but not connected to the network. I told the xfinity app to forget the device, but when I tried to log onto the wifi network again, I get the Device is Paused message. Any suggestions as to what to try next?

For anyone who is looking through the forum and thinking "I have that problem too...", I have fixed it (I think). I'm not sure if forgetting the device in the xfinity app makes a difference or not, but you should also go into your wifi settings on your iPhone and forget the network. After I did this, I logged back into my wifi network with no issues. As near as I can tell, the iPhone is now connected and using the wifi network once again.

Good luck everyone...

@User-321765 This is exactly what I needed. Too bad xfinity reps couldn’t figure this out while on chat for 2+ hours…

so happy I saw this though! Thank you!
