If your HP printer won't connect to WiFi, follow these steps:
Go to the printer's control panel. Select Setup (wrench icon). Choose Network. Pick your WiFi network name (SSID). If not visible, type it in manually. Enter your WiFi password. If it still doesn't connect, print a wireless network test report to diagnose issues. Additionally, check your printer's user guide for specific instructions.
Newer HP printers should also have some support through their HP app.
I have tried all this. I can see the printer under devices. But it only offers the suggestion forget this device. I don't want to forget it; I want to connect to it
Greetings, @user_n6oyo4! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about connecting your printer. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
Can you tell me a little more about where you are seeing the printer listed? Is it in the HP Smart app, or on the control panel? If you select the option to forget it, will it allow you to reconnect afterward, as if it were a new device?

Hp has an app called HP Smart. It will locate and connect your printer for you. Very easy to use.
