How to replace XB6 in bridge mode with XB7
I have a self-install kit with an XB7 on the way. It will replace an XB6 that is in bridge mode, feeding an eero router. I have read some of the online support materials that say the installation takes three steps, involving the Xfinity mobile app. This sounds simple, but I am wondering if there are different steps I need to take when the time comes because of the use of bridge mode. (It took a couple of hours on the phone with support to get the XB6 installed a year ago, and I'd love to avoid a repeat of that.)

Hello there, @AEagan. I know how important it is to safe as much time as possible. With the use of our Xfinity App, it is designed to make things as simple as possible. It is a very easy process to get the new modem hooked up, and to even set it up in bridge mode. If you run into any issues, we are here for you.
