How To get Alerts About Upcoming Outages
For the past few months about once or twice a week around at around 1 to 3:30 in the morning my internet will cut out due to a network improvement, and the first time it happened I got a notification by text that it was going to happen and roughly when and how long it was expected but since then I haven't gotten any more texts and I'm not sure how to set it up to start getting them consistently and customer service with this company is less than useless, so if anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

@user_AT12 Thanks for reaching out about your alerts. Our team is here to help. Our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you. I would like to have you check and ensure your text alerts are turned on. Here’s a link with those steps along with some cool text commands. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-alerts. If at anytime you reply stop it will remove you from automated calls and texts from Xfinity.
Our XFINITY App is also a good source to check for scheduled maintenance and unforeseen service issues.
