How to adjust metered/unmetered setting in Android Wifi settings with XFINITY hotspot Wifi App installed??

From what I understand, in order to use the secured XFINITY wifi hot spots, you need to have a profile installed on your device. On Android, it appears that installing the profile locks out the ability to set the wifi connect usage settings (auto/metered/unmetered). I want to change this because it appears to be the only way to address the issue where my phone connects to my neighbors XFINITY wifi when I get home and I have to manually change my phone over to my home network. It seems that if I set my home network to unmetered and XFINITY to metered then Android (12 at least) will automatically switch for me.
