how many Upstream Channels should be in MT7711?

I see some post that have 5 upstream channels...
Also getting disconnections, T3 time out in the event log.
Can you also change downstream setting Value? Are the signals good? what are the Ideal level?

Hello, @user_9c5f08 Thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums for support, you have contacted the right place for assistance. I definitely want to help answer your questions for your in regard to the modem.

For modem signal levels, I found this post which has some great information from our community expert @EG: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/what-are-normal-signal-levels/602dafd4c5375f08cd18a639. There are also some tips mentioned to check your connections.

In regard to the number of channels, I could find that there should be at least 4 open. I did find this article that goes over channel selection or mode: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/change-wifi-mode-admin-tool-xfinity-xfi. You would want to look at the section of using the Admin Tool since you don't have an xFi gateway.

FWIW. That second linked article discusses WiFi channels, not the upstream channels that a cable modem connects to.
