how do i schedule an appoinment

About every 20 minutes my router turns of and then a few minutes later turns back on.  Do I need a new xfinity router?  Tried to use xfinity assistant but kept going in circles, and if it checks router while it's working during those minutes, I guess things seem fine.  Is there a phone number to talk to someone?  This has been going on for a month or so.

What do the modem's signal status values look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1 

Please copy all of the text in its entirety of the *Downstream Power Levels*, the *SNR's* (Signal to Noise Ratios), and the *Upstream Power Level* numbers and paste them into your next post.


What is the exact make and model number of the modem / gateway device ?

shlep Thank for reaching out to let us know the issue you have been experiencing with your Xfinity Gateway modem, that definitley sounds frustrating! If there is an issue with your modem we can definitely help replace it, but I would give the self troubleshooting steps that are available in the Xfinity app a try first. The steps are super easy and can fix most issues in just a couple of minutes.
