How do I locate the Xfinity cable on the side of my home?

At one time, Comcast Cable provided TV service to my home.  In approx 1995 internet service started with a phone line connected to my Modem & was provided by ATT.

I signed up with Xfinity yesterday & I'm trying to connect to the Modem.  Are the Comcast cables that were installed years ago supposed to provide my Xfinity wifi?

If so, how do I determine where the cable(s) is located on the outside of my home, so that I can see where they enter my basement.

user_w4azwn Thanks for posting on our Community Forums. It would be hard to advise where the lines are connecting to your home. Our services would be using the coaxial outlets, and the tap to your home may not be active as well, depending on how long it's been since service was last provided at the address. Have you checked all coax outlets to see if the modem comes online?

Outside. Do you see a coax cable aerial drop line from or in between telephone poles that is strung to the side of your house ?
