How can I get my X1 wifi TV box to use a preferred wifi instead of xFi Gateway wifi?
I have my own wifi routers connected to my xFi Gateway modem and where I have the X1 Wireless TV Box, the router wifi is better... However, the X1 Wireless TV Box always defaults to the xFi Gateway's wifi, which is not good at that location, so the X1 freezes all the time.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us here. That wireless box will default connect to the Xfinity in home network you have set up without need for a password. If you reset the box you should have an option to select the join another network prompt. If the box is auto connecting there is not an option to change that setting.
