How can I connect to a 2.4ghz

First, I’m not technical by any means! I have an XB6 modem and I’m trying to connect my Eufy cameras but I’m getting an error saying I need to make sure I’m connecting to 2.4ghz. From some of the articles I’ve read, apparently there is a way to split into a 5.0 and a 2.4. I have zero clue how to do that. I know it’s stated by Xfinity, the XB6 is “supposed to” pick up a device that is broadcasting at 2.4ghz, but clearly it is not. What are my options? I do have pods as well.

If you are using pods, the bands can't be split. It's a requirement for them to be able to function.

Ok, thanks. Do I need to disconnect the pods or is there another way around this?

If you stop using the Pods, you can try separating the combined 2.4 and the 5.0 bands and give them two different broadcast names / SSID's;

Associate the cameras with the new 2.4 SSID (broadcast name) and password.

I'm not sure if this even works anymore. YMMV. Good luck !

Thanks, I’ll give it a shot.

@user_fnd0ry Just checking in. Were you able to get your cameras hooked up?

Same problem here.  Deleted the pod and reset the router and still can't toggle 5/2.4ghz, and can't get the solocam 340 online.

@user_qkaxqd

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 6-month-old dead thread is now being closed.

For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on someone else's older thread can delay getting help.
