hotspot

Hi, my laptop cannot connect to the xfinitywifi or Xfinity hotspot for recent 2 weeks, I am sure my account and password are correct and no other devices are connecting. Every settings of my laptop is unchanged, it had been connected to the hotspot well in the past 3 years. When I try to connect, it shows no network and no IP address.

Hello, @Ciely. Thanks for reaching out about not being able to connect to the Xfinity WiFi Hotspots. Have you tried the step of forgetting the WiFi network and any stored passwords for Xfinity? Then clear the cache and cookies on your device, restart the device, and try to connect to the Hotspot again.

@XfinityRay Thanks for your reply! I have tried to forget the wifi and retype my account and pw but no use. Which cache and cookies do you mean? The cache of all of my browsers?

Have you tried connecting with another device by chance? I would give this a try.

My phone can connect to the hotspot sometimes (no always), it may take a long time to connect. I think there is something wrong with the hotspot, because I did not change any settings of my laptop and phone, it just... lost connection suddenly 2 weeks ago.
