hotspot

My work location shows that it is a hotspot but it doesn't show on my phone to connect.  It does show on my iPad in all caps, but fails to connect.  Is there a way to verify if a location is an actual functioning hotspot?

Hello @user_795067 thank you for reaching out through our forum. You can click here https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/wifi?INTCMP=ILC:XA:GEN:GEN5bfebd84b5e3a for the Xfinity Hotspots map (also available in the Connect tab of the Xfinity app for Xfinity Internet subscribers) allows you to search for hotspot locations by address or use the interactive map to find nearby hotspots. Are you still having issues accessing the Hotspot?

Gotcha! Thank you for confirming!
May we ask, the method in which you are using to connect? Are you utilizing the application?

I no longer work for Comcast.

It is probable that you have to contact the IT department at your work in order for any of your devices to access their network.  Although you can 'see' it on some of your devices, it may be configured in such a way that your device has to be 'allowed' to connect, and that can only be done by someone in the IT department.
