Hot and noisy gateway

A common problem. The cooling fan is malfunctioning. There is no fix other than to get it swapped out for another. Take it to your local Xfinity store for the fastest option, or ship it back for free via UPS and have them ship you another one. You can even get *home pickup*.

Jeepers! That does sound like the device might need to be replaced. Do you know where the closest Xfinity Store would be? They will be able to provide you a replacement and take in the unit that is having issues.
