Horrible Wi-Fi

Worst WiFi I’ve ever had. Internet goes out constantly. If you call, they tell you the same thing the website tells you to do. Then when it’s not fixed they try and schedule for someone to come fix it. That’ll cost you $99 for them to be here 5 minutes days later I might add. I recently upgraded my WiFi to be able to run our blink camera off WiFi. My internet now only works in half my apartment. If I had the option to use someone else I would. Only use them because my apartment complex has a contract with them.

For a test, does a computer / device that is hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same dropping problem ?


With this test, we are trying to isolate this down to being either a WiFi-only problem or a problem with the general connection to the Comcast system which would of course affect both. It's a good first step in troubleshooting before proceeding any further.
