Honeywell Thermostat Permissions

I have two Honeywell thermostats that are connect to my WiFi just fine.  The problem is that they can't sync with the Resideo (Honeywell) cloud.  Resideo Support gave me the following list of links and told me to have Xfinity enable the permissions on my router/modem.  Is this a reasonable request on the part of Honeywell?  If so, what's the best way to get these links to Xfinity?

To send a "Direct Message" message:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
