Home wifi not working for some devices?

Hello all I hope all is well with everyone! So this issued started last week. Internet wasn't working for us when my wife woke up(she works from home) so she called and they had her reset and they also changed my network name to something else for some reason. They got it fixed and her work from home computer was working again. My son's school laptop is working and also my daughter's kindle is working and connected to wifi. But my phone and my wife's phone will not work on wifi for some reason. My phone works on my jobs wifi but when I come home it's indicating "connected but not connected to internet" which is odd since the wifi at work connects to my phone with no issue. My PC which is hardwired to the modem also started having issues with the internet as well. Luckily I have a wifi adapter on my pc so when I unplug the ethernet cord and connect via wifi it works fine. But when I reconnect the ethernet cord and take wifi off it's indicating "Connected but not connected to internet". Does anyone know why this would persist or even the slightest ideal of what's causing this cause I am stumped.

Hi, @user_4166fc

I am sorry to hear about the wifi issues you are experiencing. have you tried to connect to the 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands separately to see if this makes a difference?

@XfinityOtto to be honest I don't believe my gateway offers that option. I only have one wifi network that shows available. After several restarts and all services were down for over 6+ hours last night till the am my PC is finally working with a hardwired connection. But now the switch, my tablet and both cell phones still cannot connect via wifi. Can someone call me during business hours maybe?

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

I no longer work for Comcast.

Hi, @user_3adee8. I am sorry to hear that there are connection issues happening and understand how frustrating that would be. We work at home and rely on the connection as well. Have you tried forgetting the WiFi network name on your device(s), clearing the cache/cookies, restarting the device(s), then connecting to the WiFi network again?
