HITRON CODA56 not giving higher speeds

I recently replaced my existing modem with a Hitron Coda 56 as recommended by the Xfinity device list. I am not seeing any increase in my speeds, especially the upload speed stuck at 40 Mbps. I tried customer service, but they didn't understand what I was asking. Does anything need to be updated on the back end?

There are other conditions that need to be also be met such as actually being in an updated market area. See the link for more info;

I got the email saying that I need to upgrade my modem and I see the 2100 mbps tier in my area.

Ok so then it may indeed be a back door database speed provisioning thing. I'm going to escalate your issue to the Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) who are available to these boards. They will be able to check it for you. Good luck !

@user_0b40uh

Please post back with how it turns out.

The Xfinity team had to push a new provisioning profile down to the modem. That is giving me higher speeds (~600 Mpbs down / 80 Mbps up based on the router's built in speedtest). There might be something in my router that's limiting the speed - I'm going test direct to the modem later.
