Hitron Coda56 keeps disconnecting every few days

A few weeks ago, my Hitron Coda56 modem started disconnecting about weekly. I went through the various trouble shooting steps (checking cable tightness, power cycle, reset) and the only thing that resolves it is a full factory reset and going through activation again. It works fine for a bit and then a few days later it will disconnect again. This has happened four times. I have a technician visit scheduled in a few days, but wondering if this is something I can resolve.
