High Latency and Transatlantic Routing Issue to Game Server (Albion Online)

Hello everyone,
I am experiencing severe latency spikes and connection drops while trying to connect to a specific game server (live01-win-01.dc02.albion.zone). I ran a traceroute and noticed that my traffic is taking a massive detour and failing at the destination.
For context, I am on the Internet 1000 plan and using a wired Ethernet connection.
I am located in Indiana. Here is a breakdown of what the traceroute shows:
  • Hops 1–6 (Local & Regional): Connections to local Comcast nodes and Chicago hubs look great (under 20 ms).
  • Hop 8 to 10 (The Jump): Latency spikes from 19 ms to 130+ ms as the traffic jumps onto the aorta.net backbone and crosses the Atlantic to Europe.
  • Hop 21: Traffic hits the game's hosting provider gateway (gw.gcore.lu) and latency spikes past 230+ ms.
  • Hops 22–30: The trace times out completely and never reaches the final destination IP.
Is there any way to get Comcast/Xfinity to look into this routing path, or is this an issue that must be resolved by the destination network hosting provider?
Here is the complete traceroute data:

@XfinityVictor

Yes, I am still experiencing severe routing issues to this server.
My traffic is being misrouted across the Atlantic Ocean and back instead of staying within the US. My connection goes from Indiana to Chicago via Comcast perfectly fine (at ~18ms), but as soon as it hands off to aorta.net (Hops 10 and 11), it gets sent to Amsterdam (nl-ams17b) before coming back to the game's actual server location in Washington, D.C.
This is adding over 110ms of unnecessary latency to my connection on a Gigabit plan. Here is my current traceroute showing the jump:
  7    20 ms    21 ms    20 ms  be-32241-cs24.350ecermak.il.ibone.comcast.net
  8    20 ms    17 ms    18 ms  be-2413-pe13.350ecermak.il.ibone.comcast.net
  9     *        *        *     Request timed out.
 10   137 ms   136 ms   137 ms  us-was03a-ri1-ae-10-0.aorta.net
 11     *        *      135 ms  nl-ams17b-rc2-lag-105-0.aorta.net
...
 20   131 ms   128 ms   129 ms  gw.gcore.lu

Could you please escalate this to your Network Engineering or NOC team? They need to look at the peering/routing policies at the Chicago 350 E Cermak exchange (ibone.comcast.net) for traffic heading to G-Core/Aorta networks so it stays on a domestic path to Washington, D.C. Thank you!
