High latency and packet loss the past few days to a Seattle area

For the past several days, I have had elevated ping and suspected packet loss to a specific Seattle-area server during prime-time hours. This results in noticeable latency during gaming in particular. I have run a tracert command which identifies the "ix-ae-13-0.tcore2.00s-seattle.as6453.net [64.86.124.20]" server as having a significantly higher ping during primetime than it normally does. This has only been an issue for the past 3-4 days. I'd like some assistance with a resolution.

Please post the complete trace. Note that the address posted is not a Comcast address. It is assigned to "TATA Communications".

Thanks for the response, see below for an image of the complete trace minus the first couple lines:

It looks like hop 8 is where the issue begins. If this is not a Comcast server, I'm assuming this will not actually be a Comcast issue? As I mentioned, seems to only become a problem during evening hours.

Hello, ytpconquer! @BruceW provided some fantastic information! We would ensure your service is working great on our network but for other provider's servers you would reach out to them. Are you noticing any other issues with your service aside from the latency through those servers? Are you gaming?

It's hard to tell. Hop 8 is where the high RTTs begin, but since it's the first router beyond Comcast's network we can't really say if the delay is due to a bad hand-off by Comcast, or a problem with the hop 8 TATA router. But something is obviously wrong when it takes 50 ms to get from Seattle to Seattle.

I doubt if Comcast will be willing to help you. TATA's contact info is given in https://whois.arin.net/rest/net/NET-64-86-124-0-1/pft?s=64.86.124.20. Good luck!
