High cable modem errors
High cable modem errors, uncorrectables in the tens of thousands, multiple code 16/24 messages, no T3 time outs as of yet, drop line was replaced a year ago ( I have some issues with how that was executed). I know that my current cable modem CM2500, is not recommended for the Gigabit plan I have, however, that would not cause the constant code 16/24 issues in the modem log. The cables in and under the house have been inspected and tested to be good,,,this leaves the possibility of Xfinity equipment or something else from the CMTS to the node just outside my house. Would it be asking too much to have someone check ( poll the CMTS ) to help narrow down the issue ,please.

@user_xxlt6b Hello thank you for reaching out! Thank you for providing those details and outlining the troubleshooting you've already completed. I can see you've put quite a bit of effort into narrowing this down. While I understand your point regarding the Code 16/24 entries, the first step we'd want to address is the modem itself. Since the CM2500 is not a recommended device for the Gigabit tier you currently have, it's important for us to eliminate any potential compatibility concerns before looking further upstream. When equipment isn't fully compatible, a variety of service issues can occur, and we'd want to rule that out first to ensure we're working from a known good baseline. Once the modem compatibility concern has been addressed, we can continue investigating if the issue persists and review what additional troubleshooting steps may be needed. That approach gives us the clearest path to identifying whether the problem is coming from the premises, network equipment, or elsewhere in the signal path.
