H I hope I'm in the right area . The situation is I have Comcast triple play except for my two iPhones and Verizon is the carrier for them.

The problem was the entire area could not get Internet with Verizon as a carrier for phones. They gave me an extender but I was always getting good wifi in my house. Could it be I was using Comcast wifi through the triple play and didn't realize it? I now get 4 bars but I don't notice any difference as to when I had one bar.

It seems the extender gave me four bars but did not improve in performance outside of my condo and even in the condo I was getting good reception although I had one bar.

I guess my question is was Comcast providing the wifi that enabled all my devices to function well and this extended is really doing no good.
