Help !! xfinitywifi hotspot with 2.4GHz Devices

HELP !! The xfinitywifi hotspot doesn’t work with 2.4 GHz devices.  This is a huge issue because it makes all devices that only work with 2.4 GHz defunct !! i.e. Useless.

Can Xfinity please fix this issue and allow for 2.4 GHz networks, Please.

Thanks

The two WiFi bands have recently been combined into one with the Comcast gateway devices. Some devices get confused and don't know how to see / talk to combined bands.

If you are not using any Xfi Pods, you can try separating the 2.4 and the 5.0 bands and give them two different broadcast names / SSID's;

Associate the devices with the 2.4 band's SSID (broadcast name) and password.

Thanks for your response.  The device I am using is an Arlo Pro 4 camera.  There is no way for me to separate 2.4 and 5.00 bands on the device.  I don't know how Xfimnity can fix this issue.

It get done in the Comcast rented gateway device / router, not the camera. Did you click on the instruction link that I supplied ?
