help with renaming 2.4 and 5GHz
I have asked many times, posted questions and posted responses to answers and talked to customer service. You keep telling me to open a new question. I do and get nothing. So here is another one. I just got a new WiFi router from Xfinity. My printer does not work with the new router. One suggested solution is to rename the 2.4G network. Where do I rename this? I do not have the option on the admin site or in the app.

Hi there! This is definitely not the kind of experience we want our customers to have with us. We'll check on this right away and will do the best possible for you. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further into the renaming of your networks! Thanks!
To send a "Direct Message" message:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it.

I gave up after 5 hours of being on with random help desk people. Here is how I solved it for anyone else having this issue. I bought an extender that allows me to assign the 2.5 and 5 ghz names. I then connected the printer to that 2.5 wifi and it worked.
