help with gateway critical error logs
I am so annoyed with all this [Edited: "Language"]. I have had problems with my system from the beginning. I've called, chatted, replaced equipment and still the problem exists. Every error on almost every device loses connection then I get error messages saying I have an unstable internet connection. I lose connection all the time. I have to unplug my devices everyday check network status and re-enter info everyday not once a week or once a month. Everyday. I go into router settings and things I have changed are changed back I have thousands of critical errors and no one can help me. I have had technicians out and aside from plugging in the router he had no idea what to do. I told him my previous router was hacked and he said it was unlikely. I explained that someone was changing the admin password to get into my router and changing settings he didn't believe me. In fact the internet tech support couldn't even reset it for us to gain access. And the representatives on the chat and 800 don't have a clue either. It's so [Edited: "Language"] annoying, I know that router hacking is more common than people think. I have wasted so much money on new devices and I have wasted so much time on trying to get it fixed. I need someone who actually knows what they are doing to get a hold of me. Hey there sounds like a mess. Couple questions to try and understand whats happening here.. Are you running VLAN or Gateway in Bridged mode?
This sounds like DNS issue, or configuration related.

Hey as a late follow up to this thread, checked Gateway logs and seeing the exact same error(s) as noted above, however not experienced any degradation in performance..
In fact would have never seen this if hadn't checked the gateway "event" logs.
Suspect this may be just noise in the network but in any event no interruptions on the internet highway here.. https://internet.xfinity.com/network/health says 116% of 1.2Gbps service.
May be issue with DHCP or DNS based on log output but not looking like any of the issues poster described are valid as to cause or perceived "network" slowness..
Just my .2 cents.

As any employee posting here really ought to know, the TG4482A is a rental 3rd generation XB7 Xfi gateway (see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/broadband-gateways-userguides ). Any employee posting here should also know that Comcast does not allow customers to purchase the gateways it offers on a rental basis.
