Help modem provisioning for service

Modem is powered on correctly and not recognized by app.  Phone support will not assist in provisioning modem for service.  Have checked power and cable.  Need help

Hello user_91jbew is this still an issue for you? Were you moving services from one location to another, and already submitted an online move order? Or is this brand-new services? Besides the Xfinity App, you can follow the instructions below to activate equipment via the online portal. 
 
Activate Your Equipment Online

If you’re activating Xfinity Internet, Voice or any TV services other than X1, you can easily activate your equipment online.
1. Connect your Internet, Voice and/or TV equipment and turn it on.
2. Go online to xfinity.com/activate for easy step-by-step activation instructions.
 
This support article should help also if the equipment is not Xfinity-Leased.
