Help! Massive packet loss, people can't hear me in WFH meetings.
Folks, I need some help.
I am seeing a lot of packet loss on the network. Teams / Zoom meetings become unusable, no one can hear me.
- Pinging something like google.com loses 3 packets out of 10.
- I've tried connecting directly to the (SB6183) cable modem, bypassing the router
- rebooting the cable modem; resetting the gateway
- connecting the cable coming into the house directly into the cable modem (bypassing all splitters etc)
- the SNR numbers seem to be OK on the modem.
What is wrong? I can't get any help from customer service, they keep asking me to reboot my modem. Is there someone who can please advise?
