Hardware

I recently switched from AT&T for home internet to Xfinity. We are trying to install it and we found the old cable in the wall however it appears the end has been cut off. I am attempting to purchase a new coax end piece however there is several types. My question is what type of coax end do i need to purchase?

Can you see the markings on the coax cable ? RG6 is typically used in homes. If so, you need to use a compression-type fitting (F-connector) for RG6. And the proper compression tool. And you need to insure that your home is connected to a live Comcast feed from the street.
