If this is a Comcast-rented device, they do not have a separate guest network;

Not being able to have a guest network in the 21st century is complete and utter [Edited: "Profanity"]. Verizon allowed 3 different networks, and we had a private one, a guest, and one for all of the IOT. I need a different internet provider.

Yes, you need a way for temporary users to access Xfinity. You cannot give out the pswd for the main network, if it is compromised or misused then I have to reset the password on all my devices. Not acceptable.
