Got a new gateway XB8 now have internet dropouts

Due to the size of my house i have 2 Extender pods (Gen 2), one in basement and one in upstairs, to help with internet coverage.  Since the upgrade to my gateway, devices connected in either of those spaces experience internet drop outs.  Once i unplugged the extenders, the drop outs stopped.  The tech guy that upgraded my gateway said this could happen.  What am i supposed to do now for range extenders? Are these things going to get fixed or am i just [Edited: Language] out of the 200 i spent on them?

Hello wrxhokie,  thanks for reaching out. The pods should still work with the new modem. You may need to reactivate them through the app. Steps to take listed here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/activate-xfi-pod-with-xfi-app . The modem also cannot be in bridge mode, so you will want to make sure that setting is disabled as well. Let us know if this article doesn't help.
