Google Nest Hub Max need to disable AP Isolation

Hello, I'm trying to connect to a new Google Nest Hub Max. I can get it connected to Wifi, then my phone / google home app needed to link the device claims it cannot connect to the device and I need to disable Access Point Isolation on my router.  I cannot find an answer to this.

Hi, @benbro24! Thanks for taking the time to contact XFINITY over our forums page for help with getting a connection. Over social media, we are a team of expert specialists who are dedicated to serving our XFINITY family. We can help. What device are you trying to connect to the new Google Nest Hub Max?

I am trying to connect my Goggle Hub to my home wifi and get the same AP isolation message from Goggle on my phone. How do I fix this on the Xfinity end?

Just to be clear. Installing Google hub nest onto an Xfinity wifi network.  Google home says that the hub is connected, but cannot be seen by the Google home app because of AP Isolation, which needs to be disabled.  Question is how?

@user_se3kul AP Isolation when using one of our Xfi enabled gateways is not an option you would have to disable as AP isolation is done to ensure your home networks security. If you are using your own router this would be a setting for that device specifically and would be managed from your devices' admin tool. If your nest is acting in place of a router then you may need to look into your Bridge modem settings you can check out this page here for more help with the Bridge modem setting on our Xfi gateways: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/wireless-gateway-enable-disable-bridge-mode
