Google Home Minis vs IPv6

Hi.

Recently my Google Home Minis _partially_ stopped working (can still ask it for weather and chromecast to it, but all my previous voice commands/macros stopped working). After some googling, people mentioned it might be due to Google Home Minis using IPv4 for some aspects of functionality. I thought I'd try to disable it on my Netgear R6700v3. However, I couldn't work out in the interface where to turn it off.

I looked at Advanced->Advanced Setup->IPv6.

This page has a dropdown for its mode, currently set to DHCP. Most everything in there is set to "auto" but there's seemingly no option to disable IPv6.

Some other people suggested that it's down to the ISP. Did something change recently? Is IPv4 no longer working?

I'd ask google to fix stuff but it seems like they're letting Google Home Minis out to pasture.

HilariousCow Are you having issues with other devices? Here is a link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-ipv6 providing some more information on IPv6. Are you using your own modem or a rented one?

@XfinityShawn I just figured out the issue. It wasn't with ipv6 at all.

For anyone else who might run into this: In the Google Home App, I had to re-add my speakers to rooms. For whatever reason, they fell off. All working again! Phew!
