Gigabit Extra Plan

I received an email stating that my download speed had been increased.  I have performed speed tests in the past and it is usually around 928 Mbps, so I did it again and it's the same.  According to my plan, it should be up to 1300 Mbps.  I am on my desktop that connects to modem with ethernet.  I am only getting about 70% of the speed.  Is this normal?

If the ethernet port on the computer is 1 gigabit that is about the max speed you are going to get. If your ethernet port on the computer > 1 gigabit (2.5g or 10g) then they may need to send a signal to the modem or reboot. If that still does not work you may need to contact tech support.

You were correct - the ethernet port is 1000/1000 (Mbps).  Thanks again!
