Getting a second IP address for my Arris SB8200 Modem

Setting up my modem, with two gigabit Ethernet ports that I need to set up two wireless routers in separate rooms on. After spending hours trying to set it up it appears I need to get two IP addresses to be able to do this?? Someone please help/let me know if this is possible

First, check the "Rate Card" for your local area to see if that feature is even available anymore. Seems that it is being phased out;

https://www.xfinity.com/support/rate-card/

It's a PDF.

Scroll down to "Xfinity Internet" and look for "Additional IP Addresses".

If nothing is listed then it's likely to have been discontinued in your local market area.

That's incorrect. We've seen many many posts here indicating that it works. Something else is going on.

Look. I have helped people get second IP addresses here almost every single day by escalating their requests to the Comcast corporate employees that are available to these help forums. The people then post back their success and thank all that were involved. Do a forum search and see. The posts don't lie. It's not just for link aggregation although that was it's the original intended function.

my apoligies. i am just frustrated with xfininty any my network.  arris and xfinity are not helping.  1st i found out i was able to have 2 ips on my line.  so i added to account.  was using arris sbg 8300 and mac bridge one device that i wanted a public ip for and used modem router combo on other devices i have the gig service.  and it was terrible disconnects laging and more.  so i purchased sb 8200 since i had to ips and xfinty says to activate both i need another account. even with two ips.  ok so got another account both sbg8300 and sb8200 hooked on same cable line but differnt networks.  and now 3 ips and still really bad internet with many correctables a and non correctables down stream signal was within range but upstream not .  so i purchased drop amp active return to help up stream.  now down stream up to 20 db and upsteam only in 38.  noise ratio upper 30s low 40s.  so i had techs come out and they did nothing 2 of them couldent find their way out of a wet paper bag and agents on phone are clueless.  so i have to gig plans 2 top line 3.1 docis and the worst internet iv ever seen. and nobody can help.  my dsl 15 years ago was better than this. i just want low lantency high speed that dosent change on hours of the day.  it is very inconstant any ideas.  because i am lost and frustrsated and i took it out on you im very sorry  i looked through forms and still nothing mabey i should switch to att
