Geolocation changes whenever I get a new IP

So it's not like I didnt put in the effort to figure out how to fix this.. My service in Poughquag NY (which is where im billed) sometime last yearish suddenly geolocated us to CT. I went through all the geolocation service providers and submitted the correction to that IP. Eventually it did get fixed and I was geolocated back in NY.. Well, power went out, modem got assigned a new IP and now im back in CT. I would like you to assign my modem a static IP so this doesn't keep happening. Im paying a lot of money for two different accounts, the one in NY, and the one im at now in FL. I dont think this is asking much, and I know that XB7 can be assigned a static IP. I can provide the mac address, billing info and anything else you could possibly want so you can see im obviously in NY, not CT, that is if I can get someone here from comcast to address the problem for me.
