Gateway User name and Password not working
I am trying to sign into my xfinity gateway using my user name and password but it does not work. The assistant does not help. Can someone help?

Gateway login "user name and password" are not the same as your Xfinity Account "user name and password"
Default Gateway user name "admin" password "password"
Once logged in, I suggest changing the password. And user name if possible, on mine you can`t.

The Xfinity Gateway doesn't use 'your user name and password'. It has its own and the default generally was admin/password.
