Gateway Settings
Didn't realize this was a better place to post this than "getting started", so posting here as well.
I live in an apartment community with an Xfinity Bulk Contract. Instead of every unit getting access to a wireless gateway, it comes into the apartment in a closet to a D-link DGS-1100--08PV2 switch. How do I either get access to the Gateway settings or put it in bridge mode?

If several people / units are sharing a gateway device, and it's put into bridge mode, only one person / unit will be able to have internet access. And the settings shouldn't be touched anyway unless all users agree.

@user_57m9rv Our expert @EG is correct, however, we may not have the entire context of your account situation with your initial post. Equipment is typically linked to the address/account and is not shared in a communal sense. If you could please send me a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address, we can get started taking a more in-depth look at your account and provide some insight/options.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

They stated this;
