Gateway modem reset

Worked fine all day today until 7:30 pm, then slowed down, I finally reset the modem,  and now it won't connect.  I have an appointment on Saturday but don't want to wait 4 days to get my internet back.

First. Check their site for official info on any possible local outages here;

https://www.xfinity.com/support/status

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

Or you can use their Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps

user_cokwbt We are happy to see if we can find anything sooner for you, and help get the service back sooner if we can.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
