Gateway Logs Missing or Deleted -- No event entries, firewall same day

When I sign into my gateway and check the logs, there are zero entries in the event log, ever. Up until last week my firewall log showed historical logs of the total number of INPUT and FORWARD etc events that occured by date. After talking to tech support and a restart, my firewall logs are now exclusively for today with no past entries since the last restart.
I don't know if my gateway is restarting daily without my knowledge or if logs are being blocked, edited, or what is happening. However, I see screenshots and sample output and know my event logs look nothing like them because mine are entirely blank. And my firewall logs only ever have at most three entries which are exclusively dated today.
I have had only a third or a quarter internet speed in the last two weeks and have been trying to identify the issue with Comcast for more than a year and a half. I have had techs out to replace the drop, I have had them check and tighten every element, I have asked for interference testing to be performed. They continue to claim that there are no issues or it must be my equipment. However, that doesn't explain why their equipment isn't logging correctly
