Gateway Locked on FDX Upstream Channels (50, 51, 52), but Upload Speed Capped at ~140 Mbps — Need FDX Symmetrical Bootfile

Hello,

I recently upgraded my Xfinity equipment for symmetrical upload and download speeds, but my upload speed remains capped at around 140 Mbps max even though my gateway is locking onto all three Full Duplex (FDX) high-band upstream OFDMA channels with healthy signal levels.

My current gateway diagnostic table (10.0.0.1) shows all 8 upstream channels locked:

  • ATDMA Channels 1–4: Locked (16 MHz, 22 MHz, 29 MHz, 35 MHz at 44.5 dBmV)

  • Mid-Split OFDMA Channel 41: Locked (36 MHz at 38.5 dBmV)

  • FDX OFDMA Channel 50: Locked (105 MHz at 32.0 dBmV)

  • FDX OFDMA Channel 51: Locked (200 MHz at 33.7 dBmV)

  • FDX OFDMA Channel 52: Locked (297 MHz at 32.5 dBmV)

  • Downstream SC-QAM & OFDM Channel 193 (900 MHz): Locked (42.3–43.0 dB SNR, -3.2 to -5.4 dBmV)

Because FDX upstream channels 50, 51, and 52 are all locked and in spec, it appears my account is still provisioned with a legacy mid-split rate code/bootfile on the backend.

Could an Official Xfinity Specialist please review my account backend, remove the legacy mid-split rate code, and push the DOCSIS 4.0 / FDX symmetrical bootfile to my gateway? I am happy to provide my full name and service address via Direct Message once invited.

Thank you!

dsowinternet. Hi there! Thanks for sharing those detailed signal readings. I can definitely understand why seeing uploads capped at 140 Mbps after upgrading for symmetrical speeds would raise concerns. While the FDX channels are locked, we’d want to review the account and troubleshoot before determining whether provisioning or the bootfile is the cause. Could you please send our team a Direct Message with your name and service address? Our team can take a further look at this issue.
