gateway activation

Trying to activate the new gateway comcast just sent me. When I hooked it up and plugged it in, chrome opened a page that says Gateway > Login. I entered my xfinity username and password but it says the username is incorrect. Any advice?

The creds for accessing the gateway's user interface pages are admin for the username and password for the password.

There is also the option of using their Xfinity App for activating modems;
