Gaming consoles connect to WiFi and Ethernet, but receive no internet connection

We had a technician come over a week and a half ago and all he had to do was switch our old modem with a new one. When he arrived he did an internet speed test and determined that we did not need a new modem since the speed test showed we had fine internet. He left but then returned and started messing with the coax cables instead. After doing this our gaming consoles would connect to the wifi and Ethernet, but they would receive no internet connections. Before this technician arrived, we had no issues connecting to the internet for over 10 years on our gaming consoles. Since the first technician arrived we had 2 other technicians come try to fix this issue. They worked with the wiring, switched out the modems, and did a bunch of other things but nothing worked. I myself even bought new Ethernet cables and checked multiple different gaming consoles and even bought my own router but nothing worked and we are still having this issue.
