Frequent Download Speed Drops after upgrading to Gigabit X2 Plan
Ever since upgrading to the Gigabit X2 plan, I’ve been experiencing frequent drops in my download speed multiple times per day. This issue didn’t occur with my previous plan, and my modem (Hitron Coda56) was functioning without any problems before the upgrade.
The speed drops seem to occur at specific times. For example, I noticed them around 11:00–11:30 PM yesterday and today, as well as around 1:00 PM today. Not sure if there is a misconfiguration due to the higher speeds. Restarting the modem fixes the issue but i do not want to be doing this since prior to the plan change i was not required to do this so often

I would like to take a look at your connection on our end to ensure you have the right bootfile on your account.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
