Forget the password

Hi there, user_du4gby! I understand forgetting the password and have been there myself! We offer a few easy ways to view that information.

Using the Xfinity app
1. Select the WiFi tab, then WiFi details.
2. Select Edit WiFi settings at the bottom.
3. On this screen, you can view or change your WiFi name or WiFi password.

Using an X1 Voice Remote:
If you’re using an Xfinity Voice Remote, press the microphone button and simply say “What’s my WiFi name?” or “What’s my WiFi password?” to view the details

Using an X1 box:
1. Press the xfinity button on your remote.
2. Press the right arrow to get to the gear icon.
3. Press the down arrow and choose Help.
4. Press the right arrow, choosing the WiFi tile under the Tools section.
5. The WiFi password(s) and network name(s) will show up on the screen.
