Forced Reset on XB7 to reset the gateway admin username and password did not reset the username and password

Hello Xfinity Community Support, 

I've followed the steps to reset the XB7 to allow me reset the username and password to the gateway admin tool. However, after multiple resets holding the WPS button and following the setup process I'm not able use the default gateway username and password. I've tried creating a different network SSID and also opted to use the same network name without any success.
