Firmware update

When are we getting a firmware update for the Netgear Nighthawk AX8 8-Stream WiFi 6 Cable Modem Router CAX80??? I totally get you guys hold back on these kind of things because it’s not your garbage equipment. But my god, An update would be nice Xfinity!

The AX8 is just a router. Comcast only supplies firmware for cable modems. If you need the firmware updated, see if it's user interface has a page where you can check for updates. Or you can download it from the Netgear website:

Is this your device ?;

If so, it's NOT just a stand-alone router. It is a combo modem / router gateway device with which Comcast would indeed be responsible for updating the firmware load.

Hi. Anyone had any luck solving this problem?? It looks like this $450 modem/router combo isn't configured properly to handle the Gigabit speeds.
